That being said, I still thoroughly enjoyed it. The book also got kind of frustrating because there were so many different POV characters, and obviously I cared about some characters more than others. Not a whole lot of plot happened until the very end. The only thing I didn’t like was that it felt kind of like a filler book. I also enjoyed the blending of Greek and Roman mythology, and the unique flavors of each system. The diversity of all the characters is so awesome to me, because they all felt really fully developed and didn’t fall into the trap of tokenism. I really like how distinctive all the characters are, which can sometimes be difficult to achieve in a book with lots of main characters.
